Hearts of Oak's pre season has delayed because the club is yet to clear salaries owed players.
Early this week, there were media reports that players were demanding payment before report for training.
But it is the other way round as explained by the club's acting Managing Director Vincent Sowah Odotei.
''Our decision to delay the pre-season was based on the dialogue we had with Yaw Preko, in which he told us to pay the bonuses we owe the players from last season before we start on a fresh page because it will best serve the club to clear those arrears for a smooth season,'' he told Kessben FM.
''We're confident we can work something out as early as possible to start pre-season soon, but to talk crisis, I think it's far from that.''
