Ex Black Stars captain Abedi Ayew Pele has sent a goodwill message to newly appointed Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah.
The three-time African footballer of the year is of the view that Ghana
Football Association (GFA) handed him the job because they have
confidence in him hence called on all and sundry to support Kwesi Appiah

job that’s why they appointed him. All we can do now is to back him to
succeed”. The legend said.
Kwesi Appiah was given the nod to handle the Black Stars once more after
he ” impressed ” the 6-member panel that was set up by the FA to select
the next Black Stars coach following Avram Grant’s exit after the 2017
Africa Cup of Nations. ( AFCON)
Kwesi Appiah arrived in Ghana last Thursday to commence his second stint
with the Black Stars and the “Maestro” has called on Ghanaians to
support his former mate in his quest to win laurels for Ghana.
