Mathieu Debuchy could be on his way to Galatasaray after the Arsenal defender was offered to the Turkish side.
The 31-year-old has played just 22 times since joining the Gunners from Newcastle in 2014 due to injury problems and being displaced in the starting XI by first choice right-back Hector Bellerin.

Debuchy is currently with the Arsenal squad in Norway ahead of Friday's friendly against Viking FK and looks to be nearing the exit at Emirates Stadium after his agents made contact with Gala.

The Turkish giants' technical director Cenk Ergun has confirmed that the right-back's agent had offered him to the club.

"Mathieu Debuchy was offered to Galatasaray through his agents," he told Goal. "But the club has not opened formal or informal talks at this moment."

The Gunners player spent the second half of last season on loan at Bordeaux but missed out on France's Euro 2016 squad after suffering an injury during the Ligue 1 club's 1-1 draw with PSG back in May.

Arsene Wenger is prepared to let Debuchy go and sees Bellerin as the club's primary selection at right-back for many years to come and has already had to ward off interest for the Spanish full-back from Barcelona and Manchester City.

Carl Jenkinson, meanwhile, is still recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury but will be second choice when he returns.
