FIFA has ordered Asante Kotoko to pay € 153,000 to Tunisian side Esperance for illegally registering Emmanuel Clottey.
Clottey joined Kotoko in 2015 but had his contract terminated after the North African side contested his
The striker cancelled his contract with Esperance prematurely to join Asante Kotoko, but FIFA ruled he was at fault and was handed a hefty US$ 180,000 fine
According to a report by Kickgh.com, Kotoko and the player have the end of next month to settle the debt.
Clottey never played a competitive match for Kotoko when he joined in 2015.
