Lawyer Maurice Ampaw says Asamoah Gyan's latest injury setback is a payback for jilting his client Sarah Kwablah, who the Shanghai SIPG striker is alleged to have
raped and sodomized.
Ampaw claims the constant prayers by the lady's parents, who are bent on seeking justice, is working against the China-based player.
Gyan was stretchered off in Wednesday's 2-1 defeat at Australian outfit Melbourne Victory in the Asian Champions League.
Kwablah's allegations against the Ghana captain was thrown by the Attorney General's Department of Ghana.
But Ampaw says he is going back to human rights court to seek justice for his client.
"I am not looking for anything from Asamoah Gyan. All I want from him is fairness,” Ampaw told Accra based Happy FM
"If you abuse a lady, all you have to do is sit down and settle it.”
“Sarah Kwablah’s parents are praying day and night don’t you see what is happening to him.
“He is injured again and the parents of Sarah are fighting him physically and spiritually as they want he to account for what he has done."
