Sam Allardyce is set to be dismissed as England manager, according to various media reports.
An undercover investigation by The Daily Telegraph alleged that the Three Lions boss offered to provide advice on getting around Football Association (FA) transfer rules in return for £400,000.
FA chiefs are thought to be extremely concerned by the story, with Allardyce now facing the sack after chairman Greg Clarke and chief executive Martin Glenn held an emergency meeting on Tuesday.
The governing body will speak to Allardyce before making a final decision, but it now looks likely that the former Sunderland boss will be removed from his position.
