Ex-Hearts chief Gerald Ankrah has launched a scathing attack on Vincent-Sowah Odotei, labeling the current Chief Executive as 'mentally sick and with an infant brain'.
Ankrah launched the vituperative attack on the politician cum football administrator over claims he funded the purchase of players from his 'own pocket'.
Odotei is reported to have told Kumasi-based Boss FM: “If Hearts of Oak fans do not take their time with the constant criticisms and Togbe decides not to take care of the team again, they will know where power lies.
“I signed most of the players from my own pocket money.”
The claim did not go down well the former General Manager, who launched a stinging potshot targeted at his personality =
“Guess Odotei is mentally sick? He is a young man with infant brain. How can he talk like that? he furiously quizzed.
The former King Faisal boss, who is contesting as a Member of Parliament for the La-Dadekotopon constituency on the ticket of the opposition New Patriotic Party, has come under mounting fire to quit.
The club's supporters have accused him of masterminding the side's failure to clinch the Ghana Premier League crown.
The fans claim amongst others that he masterminded the exit of Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi - an unpopular move many believe accounted for their downward spiral.
