Ronaldo clearly thinks he is better than Messi. Fans could agree or disagree depending on whose side they are rooting for. But Ronaldo at least knows what the answer is.
When Xavi made his comment, which obviously triggered a reaction from the Real Madrid striker, Ronaldo had the right to question the Barcelona playmaker to make those comments. “Ronaldo is extraordinary,” says Xavi, per MARCA.com. “But compared to Messi, for me and for everyone who likes football, there can be no comparisons.”
“I couldn’t care less about what Xavi says about me,” Ronaldo replies. “He’s won every collective trophy, including a World Cup and the European Championship, but he never won a Ballon d’Or.”
CR7 did not feel any bit impressed with the former Barcelona midfielder. And to seemingly expose him, Ronaldo even claims that Xavi is merely trying to make the headlines. That makes sense as Ronaldo appears more on the news than Xavi, according to ESPN FC Asia.
