Malia Obama had an 18th birthday to remember.
The First Daughter was serenaded by President Barack Obama, Janelle MonĂ¡e, Kendrick Lamar and a packed White House during their Fourth of July celebrations.

POTUS made sure to take the opportunity of a packed house (pun intended) to do what fathers do best, make his daughter blush.

In fact, Obama told the crowd "it's a job of a father to embarrass his daughters, I've got one last job."

He added, "It just so happens that we celebrate our country's birthday on the same day that we celebrate my older daughter's birthday."

President Obama then led the crowd in singing "Happy Birthday" to his first born as she took to the stage and smiled at the singers.

The father-daughter duo hugged before POTUS addressed the Fourth of July festivities and thanked his guests for attending on such an important day.

"We enjoy the hotdogs, we enjoy the burgers, we enjoy the barbecue, we enjoy the day off for a lot of us, we enjoy the fireworks. But it's important to remember what a miracle this country is. How incredibly lucky we are that people, generations ago, were willing to take up arms and fight for our freedom," he told the crowd.

"And then people, inside this country, understanding that there were imperfections in our union and were willing to keep on fighting on behalf of extending that freedom to all people and not just some."
