A Serial Caller of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Appiah Stadium is alleging that there is a lingering fear that have gripped residents of Kumasi following what he describes as the forceful removal of immediate past KMA Boss, Kojo Bonsu by the Asanteman Traditional Council.

Appiah Stadium contends that if Kojo Bonsu who is a royal of Asante kingdom could be sacrificed in such a manner, then ordinary citizens must watch out on the side of the traditional authorities.

“I presume that the next successor of the former KMA Boss will also be frightened while he takes over from him and largely all residents as well.

Now it has become necessary that whether you are a public servant or resident you need to be careful with your utterances so as not to step on the toes of Nananom who are practically clothed with party colours else you’ll be banished from Kumasi.” Appiah Stadium told sit-in-host Kweku Owusu Adjei on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM.

Kojo Bonsu who had for the past weeks suffered intense pressure from Asanteman Traditional council for him to leave office on the charge of gross insubordination to traditional authorities only tendered in his resignation Tuesday, July 12, 2016 as Chief Executive of the Assembly.

In a correspondence released to that effect yesterday Kojo Bonsu expressed profound gratitude to the President for the opportunity that was given him to serve as the Mayor of Kumasi.

But Appiah is clamouring for President Mahama to later consider the beleaguered KMA Boss in public service for him to prove his competence as a real technocrat.

“I’m impressed by the strides he made in terms of development in Kumasi. I’m just praying Mahama is retained so he could re-assign him[Kojo Bonsu] in another office for Nananom to see the mistake they have made in ejecting him,” Appiah Stadium said.
