Breaking News: Kotoko And Hearts Clash On Saddick Adams

Saddick Adams has exclusively told Asempa Sports that he is ready to move to any of the giant clubs, but his focus remains with the current team, Berekum Chelsea.

Adams’s renaissance at the Berekum club after difficult spells in Europe and Asia has seen a sharp rise in the stock of the former Etoile Sportive du Sahel man.

The 29-year-old, who has been in a fantastic form after the first round of the 2016 Ghana Premier League, has recently been linked with a sensational move to the two most glamour clubs in Ghana, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

However, speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Morning Show on Tuesday, the Ghana international neither confirmed nor denied any contact with any of the two clubs but did admit he felt ready to play for any of the big sides.

"I feel totally ready to play for any of the teams. I reached many levels, and today I'm ready for any challenge, big or not," the Berekum Chelsea forward said.

"There is a lot of talk about Hearts, Kotoko and sometimes it’s another team. It's always like this. The truth is that l have agreed personal terms with both Hearts and Kotoko so am only waiting for anyone who is ready for services,” he said.

“For the moment, I'm focused. We will see after."

It is a near-certainty that Saddick Adams will leave Berekum Chelsea before the second half of the league starts. The forward has scored seven goals and also won three Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for Chelsea, who sit eighth in the league with fifteen points after the first round.

It is a remarkable turnaround for Saddick Adams, whose career looked to be in jeopardy after a FIFA ban and an administrative error meant that he had to sit out for about four months.

This ruled him out of the FIFA U-20 World Cup staged in Egypt, hence wasn’t part of the history-making Black Satellites when they became the first African side to win the competition in 2009.
