A Police officer has been gunned down by armed robbers at Atebubu in the Western region.
Atebubu Police Commander Chief Superintendent Joe Dzinaku who confirmed the incident to Starr News said the police officer was killed by the robbers after he attempted to foil a robbery on a passenger vehicle.
According to Supt. Dzinaku, the driver and passengers of the vehicle are currently being interrogated to help assist with investigations.
