It might look like an incident to rival Maradona’s 1986 hand of god goal but Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t even booked for this blatant handball.
The Portuguese player leaped in the box as Real faced Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final second leg but opted to catch the ball and palm it into the net.
But the incident even ended with CR7 sharing a joke with City’s goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Instead he leaped, caught the ball and sort of happened to handle it into Hart’s goal.
He didn’t even get a yellow card for opting to dunk.
Even without Ronaldo’s efforts, Real Madrid booked their place in the Champions League final later this month thanks to a Gareth Bale goal early in the first half.
And the moment offered some light relief for people commenting on social media during the match.
