Breaking News: Ibrahimovic Makes Cantona A Mother.........

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has the biggest ego in world football and makes Eric Cantona seem like Mother Teresa. Is the Premier League ready for him?

  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic is widely viewed as one of the best strikers in the world
  • The Sweden captain was central to his country reaching Euro 2016
  • The veteran hitman's contract at Paris Saint-Germain expires this summer
  • Ibrahimovic could make a move to the Barclays Premier League next
  • He is as known for his arrogance off the pitch as he is for his skills on it.
Four days, two countries and the kind of cross-border commotion that only one footballer could cause.
The context was a two-legged Euro 2016 play-off last November between Sweden and Denmark. The sub-plot was whether the man with the golden tongue and silver feet would quit international football if Sweden did not qualify.
Then, 50 minutes into the first leg in Stockholm, Zlatan Ibrahimovic put Sweden 2-0 up with a penalty. Half an hour later he decided enough was enough and waved at the bench for them to substitute him. Erik Hamren, the Sweden coach, tried not to notice.
