Xavi Is Toughest..........Ledley

Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley has named Xavi as the toughest opponent he has ever faced.

The Wales international faced the former Barcelona star four times while playing for Celtic in the Champions League, losing three and coming out top once in a shock 2-1 win in November 2012.

Ledley, who moved to the Premier League in 2014 and has 59 caps for Wales, has faced a number of the world's best players during his domestic and international career but feels Xavi tops them all.

Ledley, who was taking Goal's quickfire quiz, also discussed his footballing idol as a child, picking Manchester United and Wales great Ryan Giggs, before describing an Old Firm derby winner as his favourite goal.

Having tasted playing at Europe's top table for Celtic, Ledley ranks winning the Champions League over the Premier League - but winning an international tournament with Wales would trump everything.

Finally, Ledley questioned club team-mate Pape Souare's fashion sense - but added that the left-back is "starting to get it" - before predicting Palace will finish 10th this season
